Karen seconded. The motion was approved by all except Marcy, who abstained. * Keith moved to approve the August 27th minutes. Laura seconded. The motion was approved by all except Marcy, who abstained. * Don moved to change our next three meetings to the first Monday of October, November, and December. Marcy seconded, and the motion was approved unanimously. * The energy committee will participate in Autumn Fest on September 21st from 5pm to 7pm at Dorset Park to promote the Home Energy Challenge and Go Vermont. * The committee discussed the June 17th draft Building Envelope Standards (BES) for T5, T4, and T3 prepared by the Form Based Codes Committee, and prepared a written response. Keith moved, Don seconded, and the following response was approved unanimously: “The draft Building Envelope Standards document does not address the energy goals set forth in the 2012 draft comprehensive plan. We request that the Form Based Codes committee meet with the Energy Committee and experts from Vermont Energy Investment Corporation (VEIC) to discuss how to incorporate language that ensures the energy goals will be met.” Sam moved to adjourn at 9:03, Karen seconded, and the motion was approved unanimously.
