South Burlington Library - Governance & Nominating Committee Wednesday,
June 2, 2021
6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

6:03 p.m. Call to Order
6:02 p.m. Additions or deletions to the posted agenda
6:05 p.m. Comments and questions from the public not related to items on the agenda
6:07 p.m. Approval of regular board minutes of May 10, 2021 ACTION
Lauren motioned and Margery seconded. Approved
6:10 p.m. Continue review of trustee and library policies for updates
Child Safety Policy – set to share with Board for Approval
- Note: added bullet of parental guidance needed for internet use for patrons under
16 years. Other changes were minimal (see Library website for last iteration)
Computer & Internet Policy – moved to next meeting
- Need to review Form
- Changed laptops to devices; if device is turned off, everything disappears (all data is
erased to protect privacy); Policy is currently written for devices that stay in the
library.
AV Room Policy needs to be written – is the room policy different? Need a reservation
request that lists all the things that will be available.
Auditorium Policy
- Lauren to look at Main Street Landing forms to see if there are items to be added
- Stacey will look at Fletcher Free forms and policies for additional information
6:45 p.m. Next meeting set for June 29, 2021 at 5:30pm
6:50 p.m. Discuss possible vacancies and nominations – did not discuss
