Dear Mr. Kehoe:
I hope there was no misunderstanding about our attending the meet-
ing of the South Burlington Zoning Board of Adjustment on September
28. Mrs. Losh and I did not object to your appeal for a varia nce.
The minutes of the meeting show that we did not object but were
there to learn what was being done and to ask questions.
I was disturbed at the meeting by your comments about the back line
(south border) of your property at 53 McIntosh Avenue. Therefore,
I inquired at the office of the Zoning Administrative Officer. On
advice of counsel I have checked our lot description, have measured
our lot from the existing surveyor's wins, and am writing this
letter to you in order to be on record as to our understanding about
the location of the wooden privacy fence and the property line that
divides our properties.
When the fence was constructed we paid one half of the cost of the
materials. The wooden fence, which replaced the broken wire fence,
was constructed on our side of the actual property line in order to
avoid cutting down several trees. We are not asking that the fence
be moved, but we do want to be on r " ord as noting that the fence
is from about six inches to about two feet on our side of the actual
property line. In case the property should be sold, it will be
noted that the property line is actually up to two feet north of
the existing fence which was built jointly by both of the property
owners.

your request for a variance. This variance will permit the construction of
a pole storage shed, the edge of the roof shall be not any closer than seven
feet fran the rear property line.
The use of the shed shall not be involved with the storage of materials re-
lated to your hane occupation.
This office will issue a permit upon your request.
