Since the orientation of the preferred alignment deviates from the existing right of way, the boundary line adjustment is needed to modify the alignment. Lots E & G will have stormwater management facilities, but will otherwise remain in their natural condition to protect wetlands and surface waters. The final design for the reconstruction of Market Street is underway, with construction planned for 2018. Per Section 11.02.C.(1) of the LDRs, the cross section and streetscape for Garden Street shall be developed by the Director of Public Works. The applicant is coordinating with the Public Works Department on the Garden Street design, which will be needed to provide access to Lots C & D. Lot F will have access directly off Market Street.
