HomeMy WebLinkAboutCU-96-0000 - Decision - 0001 Kennedy DriveSTATE OF VERMONT COUNTY OF CHITTENDEN CITY OF SOUTH BURL I NGTON DECISION AND FINDING OF FACT On the loth day of June, 1996 the South Burlington Zoning Board of Adjustment heard testimony regarding a conditional use application of Mery Brown, One Kennedy Drive, this meeting was attended by Mark Thibault, Lori Sullivan. Based upon the testimony provided at the above mentioned public hearing and the documents submitted to the Zoning Board of Adjustment which are contained within the "document file" for this application, the Zoning Board finds, concludes, and decides as follows: Findings of Fact 1) The property in question is located within R-7 District. 2) The proposed use is conditional under Section 10.20 of the zoning by-laws. 3) The existing uses are general office. 4) The proposed use is adult day care of 30 clients and a staff of five people. 5) The traffic is off-peak and clients will be transported by vans. 6) Peak hour trip ends are projected to be less than prior use (medical office). Conclusion 1) The proposed use will not have any adverse impact on general character of the area. 2) The proposed use should not adversely affect municipal or educational facilities. 3) The day care center as proposed should not affect traffic in the vicinity (van transportation, parking and unloading area will be provided). 4) The proposed use complies with all existing by-laws. No State by-laws are affected by the proposed use. 1 5) Medical services are available within the vicinity. 6) Need for this service within the community.
