Dear Homer:
Having researched your originil. permit, I find that permit 44619
issued December 28, 1973 was for removing the second story and
decreasing the size of the first story. The addition 181 x 24'
W%ioh you are proposing was never part of that permit.
Since that time, the city has adopted amendments to the zonings
regulations which places the house in question in a non -conforming
status. The house is non -conforming to the dimensional require-
ments (set -back and side yard) therefore before a permit could be
issued you would need a variance. If you wish to pursue this,
