Fall Book Sale
● Amazing efforts by the book sale committee – next level organization!
● Raised over $1,300 ○ Money raised down $200 from prior two sales because the book sellers (online
& retail) did not attend on Friday; working to address overreliance on 2-5 people.
● Lots of new customers; free Book Certificate for return visit was a hit.
11/23 Cookie Walk
● What is it? ○ Buy homemade cookies - $6/pound
○ Gluten free cookies and nut free cookies available
● Details: ○ November 23, 10am-2pm, Library
● Promotion ○ We would greatly appreciate any help promoting the event on FPF and/or social media
(graphics & blurb have already been provided)
12/14 Meet & Greet
● Replaces December Holiday Concert – the high school choir backed out yesterday, but we hope they
will do our spring event.
● City Hall, 1pm Book Shop
● Hours ○ November – April 30 Friday & Saturday only 10am – 2pm
● We beta-launched our online volunteer sign-up system!
● We are still eager for new volunteers • Volunteer can work one 2-hour shift per month
• All leads welcome
● Approved by x2VOL (what high school uses) as viable volunteer entity; will post opportunities and
hope to get more volunteers for shop (and other projects).

Common Roots during the first 30 minutes/9-9:30am.
