Dimensional requirements, request is for permission to convert an existing
duplex into three town houses on a lot containing 10,000 square feet wit: -
fifty (50) feet frontage at 211 Hinesburg Road.
Mr. ;lard said the are is R-4. Multi -family units are permitted. Each unit
must have 6,000 square feet of land.- The project must have 170 feet of
frontage on a major street which Hinesburg Road is. The existing lot has
250 feet of frontage and 10,000 square feet. The existing structure is a
duplex. Mr. Goodrich is requesting to convert this into 3-2bedroom town_
ho,,z- units. The existing structure has 8 bedrooms which will be reduced
to 6. The present occupancy is 4 people. The proposed will be 6 thinking
2 people per unit.
Xr. Lamphere said the front building will remain the same. A previous add-
ition to the building will become the second and third apartments. 11r.
G oodrich said he hoped it would attract the elderly because of the location
and being on a busline. It was pointed out that it would. probably be less
of an impact on the area as it would be left as it is.
The appeal was granted_ on a unanimous vote.
Mr. Thibault moved the minutes of the September 10, 1984 meeting be approved.
Mr. Dinklage seconded the motion.
11r. Ward reported on the progress of the Zoning violations discussed at the
last meeting. He said the owners of the taxi business had called but he
had. not yet made connection with them. The chicken farm is waiting for
a court hearing. The antique business on White street will liquidate by
December. The business on Dorset street is gone.
Mr. Dinklage made a motion to adjourn. :fir. Thibault seconded the motion. All
were in favor.
