ZONING BCARD 07 ADJUSTrSEr_ 24, 1984 Appeal `bo. 5 , Appeal of Ralph Goodrich Appeal of Ralph Goodrich seeking a variance from Section. 18.00 Density and Dimensional requirements, request is for permission to convert an existing duplex into three town houses on a lot containing 10,000 square feet wit: - fifty (50) feet frontage at 211 Hinesburg Road. Mr. ;lard said the are is R-4. Multi -family units are permitted. Each unit must have 6,000 square feet of land.- The project must have 170 feet of frontage on a major street which Hinesburg Road is. The existing lot has 250 feet of frontage and 10,000 square feet. The existing structure is a duplex. Mr. Goodrich is requesting to convert this into 3-2bedroom town_ ho,,�z- units. The existing structure has 8 bedrooms which will be reduced to 6. The present occupancy is 4 people. The proposed will be 6 thinking 2 people per unit. Xr. Lamphere said the front building will remain the same. A previous add- ition to the building will become the second and third apartments. 11r. G oodrich said he hoped it would attract the elderly because of the location and being on a busline. It was pointed out that it would. probably be less of an impact on the area as it would be left as it is. The appeal was granted_ on a unanimous vote. Mr. Thibault moved the minutes of the September 10, 1984 meeting be approved. Mr. Dinklage seconded the motion. 11r. Ward reported on the progress of the Zoning violations discussed at the last meeting. He said the owners of the taxi business had called but he had. not yet made connection with them. The chicken farm is waiting for a court hearing. The antique business on White street will liquidate by December. The business on Dorset street is gone. Mr. Dinklage made a motion to adjourn. :fir.
