Re: Findings of Fact, application of Salamin Handy for
separation of Vermont Liquor Store into two businesses for Liquor
Store and Carpet Store at 26 Hinesburg Road.
On the 22nd of March 1988, the South Burlington Planning
Commission approved the request of David Evarts for Salamin Handy
for site plan approval under Section 19.10 of the South
Burlington Zoning Regulations based on the following findings:
1. TRAFFIC ACCESS: Access is adequate from 2 Williston Road
curb cuts and two from Hinesburg Road. The driveway to the house
south of this property (owned by Mr. Handy) shall be closed,
pavement removed and seeded. Access to that property shall be
from Gracey's southern driveway on Hinesburg Road. Permits shall
be obtained from the State for Hinesburg Road work, if necessary.
2. CIRCULATION AND PARKING: Circulation is adequate. Parking
is adequate.
3. LANDSCAPING & SCREENING: A $500 landscaping bond shall be
posted prior to permit.
4. The building permit shall be obtained within 6 months or this
approval is null and void
