DECISION AND FINDING OF FACT
On the 9th day of June, 1997, the South Burlington Zoning Board of Adjustment
heard testimony regarding a conditional use of J . A . MacDonald & EZP Golfco, Inc. ,
1227 Dorset Street. Representing MacDonald, Inc. was Dean Zoecklein.
Based upon the testimony provided at the above mentioned public hearing and the
documents submitted to the Zoning Board of Adjustment which are contained within
the "document file" for this application, the Zoning Board finds, concludes, and
decides as follows:
Findines of Fact
1) Section 26.60 permits use of recreational vehicles for temporary residential
facilities as a conditional use.
2) Proposed is the temporary use of five camper units to accommodate construction
workers.
3) Campers will be connected to on -site well water and sewer tanks will be humped
weekly by Calkins Portable Toilets of Danville, Vermont.
Conclusion
1) Construction workers operate specialized equipment, living ors -site is desirable
in order to protect heavy equipment.
2) Most workers have a travel time of over one hour, staying on -site improves work
hours.
3) No families staying on -site, only one person per camper.
4) Campers will be located to rear of existing barn, well screened from Dorset
Street.
5) Board stipulated that approval will expire on November 1, 1997, campers will be
removed off -site.
Based upon the findings and conclusion setforth above, the Zoning Board of
Adjustment hereby grants a conditional use to allow use of recreational vehicles as
temporary residential facilities a ximurn of 120 days, located at227 Dorset
Street.
