DECISION AND FINDING OF FACT
on the 22nd day of March, 1993, the South Burlington Zoning Board
of Adjustment heard evidence regarding the appeal of Chittenden
Solid Waste District, Fred Moody, 1019 Airport Parkway based the
following facts and findings:
1) Site is bounded by the wastewater treatment plant, landfill
area and Interstate 89. Placement of the structure is limited due
to site constraints, thirty foot ravine, construction not allowed
over landfill.
2) The proposed biosol.id processing plant must be located near a
wastewater treatment facility, main reason for relocation of this
location.
3) Serious topographic problems, very little developable area on
this 60 acre site.
4) Building not visible from interstate. Site located 35 feet
below grade of Airport Parkway.
Based upon the above facts and findings the appellant's request for
a variance is hereby appr54i
