HomeMy WebLinkAboutVR-92-0000 - Decision - 1720 Shelburne Road67 STATE OF VERMONT COUNTY OF CRITTENDEN CITY OF SOUTH BURLINGTON On the 19th day of October, 1992, the South Burlington Zoning Board of Adjustment heard evidence regarding the appeal of L.T.H. Associates, Howard Johnson Hotel, 1720 Shelburne Road based on the following facts and findings: 1) Appellant request to install air conditioning units on the roof of the ballroom at a height of forty eight feet. Planning Commission granted permission to construct ballroom over the maximum height allowed, as set forth in Section 18.112(b) of the zoning regulations. 2) Appellant created the hardship by not giving proper consideration during design for rooftop apparatus. 3) Not necessary for a reasonable use of the property, property presently has multiple uses. 4) Property can be used in conformity of zoning as set forth by Planning Commission approvals.
