On they 8th day of June, 1992, the South Burlington Zoning Board
of AdJustment heard evidence regarding the appeal of EMA, Inc.
Eric Flaggenhe.imer, 350 Dorset Street based on the following
facts and findings;
1) Appellant is requesting to alter a non -complying structure by
replacing four overhead doors with a window store front plus
installing double service doors.
2) This proposal represents a startup with developing certain
non -conforming structures located within the Central. District
along Dorset Street.
3) The essential character of this area should be altered which
is planned along with improvements to Dorset Street.
4) Proposal will add to the character of the area bridging well
established local business to the Central District area.
5) The hardshlp is the result of land taking in order to improve
Dorset Street.
6) No alterations to the footprint are being proposed,
nonconformity to the building will not be altered.
Based on the above stated faqtp and findings the appellants
request for a variance is re grant
