The site has unique physical characteristics, surrounded by a deep ravine. 2. Hardship created by density of area, only a minor portion of land is developable. 3. Would more than likely add to the character of the area, by removing the garage, it will provide more open space. 4. This proposal provides for affordable housing which is needed in South Burlington. 5. Will not alter the character of the area, residential being the most desired use.
