HomeMy WebLinkAboutSP-01-17 - Decision - 0600 Swift Street#SP-01-17 FINDINGS OF FACT & DECISION STATE OF VERMONT COUNTY OF CHITTENDEN CITY OF SOUTH BURLINGTON Re: Findings of Fact, application of the City of South Burlington to construct a forty-eight (48) square foot addition to the first base dugout at Dorset Park, 1000 Dorset Street, South Burlington, VT 05403. On the 16th day of April 2001, the Director of Planning and Zoning approved the request of the City of South Burlington for site plan review under Section 26.10 of the South Burlington Zoning Regulations based on the following findings: 1. This project consists of constructing a forty-eight (48) square foot addition to the existing first base dugout at Dorset Park. 2. The record owner of the property is the City of South Burlington. This property located at 1000 Dorset Street and is within the Park and Recreation District. 3. Access/circulation: Access and circulation will not be changing as a result of this approval. Circulation on the site is adequate. 4. Coverage/setbacks: Building coverage will be less than the maximum of 15%. Total coverage will be less than the 25% maximum. All required setbacks are met. 5. Landscaping_ No landscaping changes are proposed. 6. Traffic: No additional traffic or parking needs will be created. 7. Sewer: No additional sewer allocation is needed. 8. Lighting: No additional lighting is proposed. 9. Dumpster: No new dumpsters are proposed. DECISION AND CONDITIONS Based on the above Findings of Fact, the South Burlington Director of Planning and Zoning approves the site plan application of the City of South Burlington to construct a forty-eight (48) square foot addition to the first base dugout at Dorset Park, 1000 Dorset Street, as depicted on a plan labeled "dugout extension April 2001" and date -stamped April 6, 2001, with the following stipulations: 1) All previous approvals and stipulations, which are not superseded by this approval, shall remain in effect. 2) Any change to the site plan shall require approval by the South Burlington Development Review Board. 3) No exterior lighting of the extension shall be permitted without prior approval. 4) No changes to other lighting, parking, landscaping or access shall be permitted without prior approval. a Juli Beth Hoover, Director Sout � Burlington Department of Planning and Zoning y/i(_O /o 1 Date Please Note: You have t - - ;-art to appeal this decision to the Vermont Environmental Court, pursuant to 24 V.S.A. § 4471 and V.R.C.P. 76, in writing, within 30 days of the date this decision is issued.
