HomeMy WebLinkAboutVR-94-0000 - Decision - 0340 Dorset StreetSTATE OF VERMONT COUNTY OF CHITTENDEN 1/1Z_ qq _ U 000 CITY OF SOUTH BURLINGTON DECISION AND FINDING OF FACT On the 21st day of November 1994 the South Burlington Zoning Board of Adjustment heard evidence regarding the appeal of Edgar Welch, 340 Dorset Street based on the following facts and findings: 1) The applicant is requesting permission to alter a non- complying structure. Proposed addition 35'x1801. Approximately 2700 square feet of structure is located within building envelop. 2) A storage building located within the building envelop will be removed to allow for parking area. 3) A second structure (1800 square feet) will remain and be occupied by a retail use. Portion of this structure is also located within the building envelop. 4) This variance permits a reasonable use that is consistent with a City Center development. 5) Addition could enhance the character of the neighborhood and future development of the area. 6) Traffic in the area should not have an impact to the character of City Center. 7) Proposed use will not affect existing municipal facilities. 8) Represent the least modification to the building setbacks.
