Request for a conditional use,
205 Dorset Street
This matter came before the South Burlington Zoning Board of Adjustment on November 9, 1998 by
application of Peter L. and Thelma Jacob for a conditional use approval to allow for a multiple use (retail,
general & medical office) at 205 Dorset Street according to plans submitted. The Board of Adjustment finds as
follows:
The area in question is zoned Commercial District I.
2. Uses as proposed are permitted within this district.
Previous tenants was a real estate agency with a maximum of twenty (20) people working from the
same area proposed for a medical use.
4. Traffic impacts should decrease, two chiropractor's involved with medical use.
Tenants proposed are medical, personal service (a paging company) and retail space, which is
presently vacant.
6. Character of the area is not affected by the change of use.
No impacts of municipal facilities, total of seven (7) people occupying property.
Stipulation: That if the stated medical use on this date changes to other doctors or dentist would require
Administrative review and approval.
ORDER
The conditional use approval as requested for 205 Dorset Street is hereby GRANTED
