Re: Findings of Fact, application of University Mall Realty
Trust for a temporary trailer for office/conference room use at
the northwest corner of the University Mall building, 150 Dorset
Street.
On the 31st of May 1988, the South Burlington Planning Commission
approved the request of University Mall Realty Trust for site
plan approval under Section 19.10 of the South Burlington Zoning
Regulations based on the following findings:
1. TRAFFIC ACCESS: Access to the trailer shall be from the
existing parking lot. Pedestrian access to the trailer will be
from the parking lot.
2: CIRCULATION AND PARKING: Vehicle circulation on the lot
will not change. The trailer will take three handicapped parking
spaces that now exist as well as spaces planned in the expansion
plan. Standard car spaces shall be converted to 3 handicapped
spaces along the stockade fence as a replacement.
3. LANDSCAPING & SCREENING: The front of the trailer shall be
landscaped with planters of trees, shrubs and/or flowers. A
stockade fence shall be constructed to screen the trailer from
the Interstate. .
4. OTHER: The trailer is approved for meeting space for 18
months only, until December 31, 1989. After this period, the
trailer shall be removed from the site unless a new approval is
granted by the Planning Commission.
5. OTHER: The building permit must be obtained within 6 months
or this approval is null and void.
