HomeMy WebLinkAboutDR-99-06 - Decision - 0150 Dorset StreetVol FINDINGS OF FACT AND DECISION Re: Findings of Fact, application of Dorset Square Associates, to replace an existing wall sign (Boston Bed & Bath) with two new wall signs (Softhome), 150 Dorset Street. On the 29 h day of June, 1999, the South Burlington Planning Commission approved the design review application of Dorset Square Associates under Section 24.20 of the South Burlington Zoning Regulations based on the following findings: 1. This project consists of replacing an existing wall sign (Boston Bed & Bath) with two new wall signs (both Softhome). The new signs will consist of white, internally lit, channel letters with aluminum backing. The size of each wall sign is 47.5 square feet. 2. The record owner of this property is Dorset Square Associates. 3. The proposed white channel lettering is consistent with most of the wall signs on the property. DECISION AND CONDITIONS Based on the above Findings of Fact, the South Burlington Planning Commission approves the design review application of Dorset Square Associates to replace an existing wall sign (Boston Bed & Bath) with two new wall signs (Softhome) with the following stipulations: 1. This approval is for compliance with only the design review criteria contained in the South Burlington Sign Ordinance (i.e., section 4(a) - (d)). The decision of whether or not this application complies with all other provisions of the Sign Ordinance shall be made by the Code Officer. 2. The applicant shall obtain a sign permit from the Code Officer within six (6) months of this approval or this approval is null and void. 3. Any change to the sign design shall require approval of the Planning Commission. Chairman or Clerk South Burlington Planning Commission /7 Date
