DECISION AND FINDING OF FACT

On the 22nd day of March, 1993, the South Burlington Zoning Board
of Adjustment heard evidence regarding the appeal of Chittenden
Bank, Chris Bishop, agent, 55 Dorset Street based the following
facts and findings:
1) Dorset Street widening creates a stacking problem for vehicles
using drive -up facility.
2) Additional land not available from adjoining properties.
3) Hardship created by land taking for Dorset Street improvements.
4) No greater impact to general character of the area.
5) Study completed by the bank industry resulting in a minimum
stacking lane of five vehicle, mandates the reconstruction of the
drive-in facility.
Based upon the above facts and findings the appellant's request for
a variance is hereby approved,.
