Please provide an updated stormwater narrative reflecting the changes made since the previous iteration of this design. 2. The drainage area plans provided still reflect the old design, which includes the infiltration chambers for the rooftop runoff and the smaller footprint for gravel wetland 1. The HydroCAD also includes the infiltration chambers for rooftop runoff, which I assume this area will flow to gravel wetland 1 now that it will be parking and not rooftop. 3. The provided drainage areas indicate that the new sidewalk to the west of the site is proposed to be captured and conveyed to gravel wetland #1, however, based on the grading of the site, this impervious will flow toward the treatment practice near the UVM rugby field. Please revise or provide information on the rugby field treatment practice if this is intended to capture the new sidewalk. 4. Contractor should utilize straw wattles for erosion control as opposed to compost filter socks to prevent leaching of phosphorus into site runoff. Revisions I wanted to highlight for your review are as follows:  There are major stormwater revisions, but they have not updated the design of the stormwater system to reflect the removed housing and parking garage, except to remove the rooftop infiltration system. They’ve added some curbing to existing pavement to better direct flow. o The storm pond by the rugby field is not included in this project  They’re proposing to replace the removed wing of the hotel with new parking  They have reconfigured the parking on the east side of the hotel to accommodate an expansion of the storm pond.  They’ve submitted what they need to for rooftop solar at this stage, but indicated more design will be needed to accommodate the HVAC system  GMT has indicated they are unwilling to relocate the bus stop to the west side of the intersection due to functionality of getting the bus in and out of traffic This is a form based code project, so there is no specific deadline for review, but please provide comments in the next week or so and I will send them along when I have heard from everyone. Old plans and materials are superseded in the project folder. While there are a few minor elements missing from the application, I believe it is ready for inter-departmental review. In terms of the roadway/driveway, we have gone around a bunch on which project should include the road. Ultimately, there are four projects that are being done by the same team on adjacent properties: Catamount Woods (phase 1 of master plan), the Rugby Field Housing (phase 2 of master plan), the hotel addition (this project), and the hotel parking garage (not yet submitted). Only the master plan involves subdivision of land, which is where roadway standards are housed in the LDR. In addition, no roadway improvements would be required for THIS hotel addition project. Therefore we’ve decided to keep the review of the roadway modifications as part of the master plan, albeit some of the road will be considered “off site improvements” for the purposes of that application. That all being said, we are asking for an IOD for the right of way on the Doubletree site as part of this application, so that the master plan does not involve dedication of off-property land. Project description: Site plan application #SP-24-08 of AAM Burlington Hotel LLC to amend a previously approved plan for a 309 room hotel and conference center. The amendment consists of removing a wing on the west side of the building containing 58 rooms and adding a four-story wing containing 70 rooms on the south side of the building, 870 Williston Road. Since this is an admin site plan, there is technically no deadline, but I am requesting you provide your comments by 3/1 Direct link to project folder: SP-24-08_Williston Rd #870_Doubletree_FBC Keep in mind you can always navigate to this folder from the Development Review sharepoint site.
