RE: Site Plan Application for Lot 1 Meadowland Drive, South Burlington, VT.
I am submitting a site plan application to change the grade on Lot 1 at Meadowlands
Business Park for the purpose of removing a stockpile of topsoil.
The origination of the stockpile came from the removal of the topsoil on Lot 1B when
that site was going to be developed; the soil was relocated to Lot 1 with the intention of a
temporary stockpile. Unfortunately, the project on Lot 1B fell apart and the stockpile has
remained on Lot 1 ever since.
The attached site plan drawing (1-08189 EPS) shows both the existing grades and the
return to the original grades (highlighted). It also shows the delineated wetlands and
buffer.
The most recent recorded plat shows all of the easements including the 200’ open space
buffer and pedestrian easement.
We estimate the size of the stockpile is approximately 1100 cubic yards and anticipate
removing it over a two to three-week period.
