This is a native, columnar oak cultivar that is hardier than English Oak  Need to specify that the soil in the tree planting strip will have to be mechanically loosened to a depth of 2- 2.5 feet and amended to alleviate compaction and provide soil adequate to support tree growth Craig Lambert South Burlington City Arborist 104 Landfill Rd South Burlington, VT 05403 Ph: 802-658-7961 Fax: 802-658-7976 email: clambert@southburlingtonvt.gov Notice - Under Vermont’s Public Records Act, all e-mail, e-mail attachments as well as paper copies of documents received or prepared for use in matters concerning City business, concerning a City official or staff, or containing information relating to City business are likely to be regarded as public records which may be inspected by any person upon request, unless otherwise made confidential by law. It includes some pretty dramatic improvements to the free-for-all of a lower parking lot. Monika seems to be the project manager, but I am assuming everyone else is able to provide neutral feedback as always. Please let me know if I need to find an independent reviewer for your area of expertise. Please provide comments by Friday September 6. Project description: Site plan application #SP-24-32 of the City of South Burlington to amend an existing plan for a park. The amendment consists of expanding the dog park and reconfiguring the parking lot, and related site improvements, 95 Swift St. Folder: SP-24-32_95 Swift St_City of SB_dog park_2024-09-17 Thanks, Marla Keene, PE Development Review Planner City of South Burlington 180 Market Street South Burlington, VT 05403 (802) 846-4106 www.southburlingtonvt.gov Notice - Under Vermont’s Public Records Act, all e-mail, e-mail attachments as well as paper copies of documents received or prepared for use in matters concerning City business, concerning a City official or staff, or containing information relating to City business are likely to be regarded as public records which may be inspected by any person upon request, unless otherwise made confidential by law.
