Subject:RE: Permit required for holding tank for snowmelt? Goss Jeep
Hi Tyler
Because snow melt does not meet the definition of “wastewater”, the installation of a holding tank to collect snow
melt does not need a permit.
Thanks,
Allison

Hello Denise and Allison,
We at Engineering Ventures have been working on a b

holding tank within the footprint of the new drop off bays to collect this snowmelt which could then either be pumped
via vacuum truck, or manually pumped to the grit/oil separator with a sump pump.
