Goss Jeep Hi Tyler Because snow melt does not meet the definition of “wastewater”, the installation of a holding tank to collect snow melt does not need a permit. Hello Denise and Allison, We at Engineering Ventures have been working on a b 2 holding tank within the footprint of the new drop off bays to collect this snowmelt which could then either be pumped via vacuum truck, or manually pumped to the grit/oil separator with a sump pump.
