It was a large double lot with the small barn on the property. This properly was originally known as the Holcomb property, which was a large farm that extended all the way from Hinesburg down road to the wetlands. After I purchased the property, I converted the barn into a one-bedroom accessory dwelling unit for my parents, where they lived for five years. We enjoyed space and privacy the double lot afforded us. Most of the other double lots along Hinesburg Rd. Have been subdivided into multiple small lots, while the properties of Edith Henley, Frank Sadowski and Deborah Mcgurn, and mine have remained larger. I have discussed with these neighbors the enjoyment we receive from our larger lots. Since moving in I have planted 10 trees, which have grown large, and added 14 gardens to the property. In 2022, I was diagnosed with cancer and because of medical expenses began to research subdividing the property in order to create a separate asset on the lower portion of my property. As a result, I am submitting my application to divide my single lot of 1.37 acres into a double lot of 1 acre and .37 acres. Two houses are to remain on the larger one-acre portion and I have no intention of building on the .37 acre lot to the east. My fiancée will move in with me and we intend to enjoy it in its undeveloped state. I have worked with an engineer to ensure my final plat submission drawing is in compliance with all applicable review standards (c) list of submission elements This document is a list of submission elements.
