Regular Session 5:22 p.m. 1. Instructions on exiting building in case of emergency and review of technology options–Margery Vagt, Library Board of Trustees Member (5:22 – 5:22 p.m.) 2. Agenda Review: Additions, deletions or changes in order of agenda items (5:23 – 5:23 p.m.) Review the VLA’s Vermont Freedom to Read statement and how it relates to our Reconsideration of Materials Brief review of FY25 and SBPL’s Strategic Plan 3. Comments and questions from the public not related to the agenda (5:24 p.m.) none 4. Approval of March 18, 2024 minutes ACTION (5:24) Stacey Pape motioned to approve the minutes, and Anne Lalonde seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. 5. Continue Review of Printing Fees (5:25) After discussing printer fees with both the South Burlington Library Board of Trustees and her staff, Jennifer Murray felt implementing free printing would be inappropriate. The committee agreed to establish suggested printing costs: 10c for black and white and 20c for color. The committee will bring the change to the full Board for a vote. 6. Discussion of “Reconsideration of Materials” (5:38) The committee agreed to add the link to the Vermont Freedom to Read statement along with the ALA Bill of Rights to our Collection Development Policy. We will add a discussion of Reconsideration of Program to our agenda for July. 7. Strategic Plan and FY25: (5:44)

Stacey Pape said the Governance and Nomination committee will look at policies and how they �it with the Strategic Plan. If the Vermont Legislature passes S. 220, the committee will discuss adapting new law to our current policies. 8.
