Hi Betsy,
Just measured and the front deck as it is extended will be 37' from the street. The new addition to the
deck will be 50' from the back property line and will be 36' feet from the side property line. The
boundaries on the survey map that I got from your website are not accurate as far as the property lines
go. At least it doesn't follow the fence lines, which were done by orginal owners in 1951 so I assume
the fence lines are pretty accurate. You're welcome to come measure if you would like. The guidelines
say setbacks are 10' from side property lines and 30 feet from the front. So we should be OK, correct?

Are you sure the closest edge of the deck to the front property line is 25’. I just took a quick measurement on our
online GIS system (not 100% accurate – we just use it to get an idea of what we are working with) and it appears to
be 25-26 feet. Could you confirm for me what that front setback is?

Thank you for your prompt reply!
I do not see your email in my spam folder. Weird. I am glad that I got this one and could give you the
information you need.
Addition to front deck is only 2 feet extension. The new Front deck will be approx. 45 feet from the front
property line, no changes on side distances.
Rear deck addition is at 25 feet away from side and 30 feet from rear property lines.

One more piece of information we need is distance to property lines. How much distance is between the edge of
the new front deck addition to the front property line? Likewise, we need distance measurements to the side and
rear property lines for the rear deck addition.
