This closes the final funding gap we had and keeps us on track for 2025 – 2026 construction. • City Center Park Boardwalk Contract Plans and Bid Documents are being finalized to be released this Spring. • A Request for Proposals was sent out to the City’s pre-qualified consultants for the design and construction of a sidewalk on Mary Street. This is in the CIP for FY25 construction. • A school zone was approved by Council on Dorset Street in front of the middle and high schools. DPW is ordering the signs and will install them once received (2-3 month lead time typically). • Alternatives for the Allen Road Shared Use Path Scoping Study will be presented at the May Committee for discussion amongst the Committee and the public. • A path connection on Garden Street from the new section/bridge to Dorset Street is in final design and being prepared for permitting. • The second Active Transportation Plan public meeting is being planned for the end of May. More details to come as we finalize a date and begin outreach for that meeting.
