This is on track for bid advertisement in Spring 2024. •The Spear Street Path received initial environmental clearance from the State and will now continue into Preliminary Design. •I-89 Bike/Ped Bridge is in Final Design and continues on schedule for construction to begin in FY25. •FY24 Line Striping RFP is posted with the following fog line/bike lanes (there are other dashed lines and center lines included): o Patchen Road o Williston Road o Allen Road •The FY25 Budget passed on Town Meeting Day with the following line items approved related to bike/ped work: o All CIP projects as proposed o Striping - $50,000 (up from $40,000 in FY24) o Curbs and Sidewalks - $40,000 (up from $2,000 in FY24) o Bike/Ped Maintenance - $50,000 (up from $40,000 in FY24) •Larkin Terrace and Farrell Estate Updates 180 MARKET STREET, SOUTH BURLINGTON, VERMONT | (802) 846-4107 | WWW.SOUTHBURLINGTONVT.GOV o The Larkin Master Plan is proceeding mostly as shown when the Committee reviewed the plan. The DRB was ok with not adding a path connecting to the Farrell Estate Plan since there were wetland impacts and difficult railroad crossings which would occur. o The Farrell Estate project is still in sketch plan review and the Committee is welcome to comment on the plans. They are considering adding a path connection from Bartlett Bay Road to Inn Road which was discussed by the Committee during your previous review.
