It was good to speak with you on this yesterday
The basic scope of the project , is to create a better living space and bedrooms on the second floor
. Curently bedrooms are upstairs, the only bath is downstairs. Client is looking to add the space thats
currently above the kitchen , in the rear of the house , to add an extra 215 SF to the second
floor, Additionally , by raising the 2nd floor ceiling height to 7'6", will allow for 2 bathrooms to be added
for each of the bedrooms to have their own bath.
Both the front and rear decks, will be rebuilt in their current footprints , by doing this rebuild, will allow
for an energy efficient home and to upgrade the living spaces with new windows and doors .

Could you remind me the scope of the project as the description on the permit form is not
detailed? Is the entire back deck and back 1 story going to become 2 story, or is the existing 1 story
section going to become 2 story, and the deck rebuilt?

When i submitted the permit application , betsy , you asked for drawings showing the current
building as it sits, I was not able to obtain , however i do have some better pictures of the house
that show the second floor , where it will be built out to reflect the same size as the 1st floor .
Please advise if this is enough to get the permit established .
