Please use proper judgment and caution when opening attachments, clicking links, or responding to this email. Hi Betsy, 1.) Attached is the North Elevation of the proposed Merhar Addition at 60 Tabor Place with height from average pre-construction grade to mid point between eaves and top of the ridge noted (about 18'). 2.) I down loaded 1' Lidar based topo from the Vermont State Data Portal. That shows the existing grade elevation at the back of the Merhar house where the addition is proposed as about 392.5' above sea level. The top of the proposed addition roof ridge will be about 21' above that, or 413.5' as also noted on the attached North Elevation. Please let me know if this is what you need to complete the permit process. Thanks! A couple additional pieces of information is needed. 1. Please send an elevation of the proposed addition, showing it’s height. Please note that per the Land Development Regulations, height is measured from average pre-construction grade to the mid-point of the eaves. 2. Additionally, this property falls in the Dorset Park Zone D View Protection Overlay District. Due to this, we need demonstration that the proposed addition complies with this standard. A link to the LDRs is here. The Section in question is in Chapter 10 and can be found on page 162. Based on the language of this section, StaƯ has calculated that the highest point of the addition can be a maximum of 432.5’ above sea level. Please let me know if you have any questions. -Betsy
