Applicant & DPW will work to get an updated WWA approval on file after implementation of the new use 1 Marty Gillies From:Stacy Katon <stacy@ocamhs.com> Sent:Tuesday, January 9, 2024 11:14 AM To:Marty Gillies; Alexis Anderson Cc:Rich McClain-Lake Point Subject:Re: 'EXTERNAL'Re: Application Attachments:DOC010924-002.pdf Marty, I just met with Alexis Anderson the property manager for this property from Lake Point Property Management. To answer your questions from our knowledge A). we don't have a current permit so we are not approved for anything, however, our current bills show us using 11,221 gallons per quarter, currently it's estimated at 124.68 gallons per day, we estimate no more than 50 gallons per day for the new tenant. So we estimate needing 175 gallons per day based on other local clubs in the area with usage of less than 50 gallons per day. We use water coolers with bottled water, we have no seating, are only 850 sq ft of space with only 1 employee/owner/person in the space at a time and will share a bathroom with the salon next door. We are a nutrition club that offers wellness coaching, fitness challenges, and sells/retails herbalife products. I am attaching the updated application showing the # of employees per tenant/space for whole building, a copy of the last invoice from SO DPW showing the water/sewer usage and rates and the flyer of the new tenants showing the new tenants usage. There was another club by the name of Vim & Vigor on Dorset St, that closed back in October, but we will be similar to that with respect to water usage etc... Please let me know if there is anything missing or needed further, and who I should be contacting and sending this to at DPW. Doing my best to do our part and keep us on track so we can get approved and open our small business. I’m not sure if it was you or someone else, but I spoke with someone over the phone last week and explained that we are not yet ready to accept a payment; we need to first calculate A) how much wastewater this property is approved to generate, B) how much wastewater this property is currently generating, and C) how much wastewater this property is estimated to generate given the new tenant/use. If (A) exceeds (C) then no payment is required at all. In order to make those calculations, we need to know the use and number of employees per shift for all tenants presently occupying the building at 359 Dorset Street. 1/19/2024
