Subject:RE: 'EXTERNAL'BETA Assembly SD-21-028 | Tree Replacement Site Plan Application
Hi Marla-Those trees should be fine given their location and spacing. I would caution against planting Sugar Maples in
close proximity to either Williston Rd or the entrance road, as they are quite intolerant of the site conditions in those
locations. The trees along the entrance road on the north side are pretty tightly spaced and will have overlapping crowns
eventually but that could be the design effect they are after and isn’t necessarily a problem.

Subject: FW: 'EXTERNAL'BETA Assembly SD-21-028 | Tree Replacement Site Plan Application
Hi Craig, I know this plan isn’t perfect as it doesn’t specify species, but are the tree shown in red likely to survive given
their proximity to one another and species? There is some urgency as they apparently need our approval on this before
potential government shutdown on Friday.
This is a replacement plan for trees that were removed that were supposed to be retained. Dashed trees are those
approved to be removed, solid trees were retained, the red trees are newly proposed, and the light shaded trees were
approved proposed trees.
