Brown 08/28/2023 see #WWA-22-128 08/31/2023 ZP 23 329 WW 23 54 8/24/2023 Tom DiPietro Public Works Director City of South Burlington Department of Public Works Via Email: tdipietro@southburlingtonvt.gov Subject:510 Shelburne Road –Final Sewer Allocation Request (Residential) TCE Project #19-202 Dear Justin: This letter is to request final wastewater allocation (1400 GPD) from the City of South Burlington on behalf of Champlain Oil Company, LLC for the proposed 4800 SF mixed use commercial building located at 510 Shelburne Road in South Burlington. The wastewater infrastructure in this area is owned by the City of South Burlington and the water main in Bacon Street is owned by the City of Burlington. This new mixed-use building is proposed to be served by a 6” SDR 35 sewer with connection to an existing sewer manhole in Bacon Street. The project has been issued a Wastewater System and Potable Water Supply Permit No. WW-4-5481-1 from the State of Vermont and is permitted to discharge 2,495 GPD of wastewater into the municipal system. This South Burlington application for wastewater allocation is only requesting final allocation and to pay the associated fee for the 1,400 GPD required for the residential portion of the mixed-use development. Final allocation for the remaining 1,095 GPD permitted for the commercial space will be requested at a future date when the use of the space is confirmed. Residential Wastewater Design Flow One-bedroom apartments: 7 Units x 140 GPD/Unit = 980 GPD Two-bedroom apartments: 2 Units x 210 GPD/Unit = 420 GPD Total: 1400 GPD Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me directly.
