The swale conveying water to Bioretention 7 terminates in a 9-foot vertical drop over the top of the retaining wall into the bioretention. Please provide an appropriate inlet for water conveyed to the bioretention from the swale. I have replied on this thread because I noticed that the stormwater comments saved in the project folder are for a different project. My original comments are in the thread below. The applicant has addressed all our previous comments at this time. Let me know if you need anything else from me! These are absolutely appropriate for inclusion in the staff report. 2 There are at least three major issues not including those you’ve described below that are going to preclude the project from being closed quickly, so no worries about a redesign. Understood. I am happy to pass along the questions I have asked them. The stormwater design appears to be incomplete. Additionally, they did not include a stormwater maintenance plan and their EPSC controls are insufficient for a hotspot site. This is what I have asked the engineers at TCE: 1. How is pretreatment being provided for non-rooftop runoff? I don’t see it called out on the plans for DA 7 Bio, DA 3 Bio, or any of the Filterras. 2. The rim elevation for Outlet Structure 3 (Da 7 Bio) is called out as 216.75. Is this supposed to be 206.75? 3. Please provide a detailed maintenance plan for all BMPs and stormwater conveyance 4. EPSC plan: How will runoff be kept from exiting the site at the stabilized construction entrances along Shelburne Road? 5. Please provide detail on how the EPSC plan will adapt in conjunction with the demolition phasing. Will the entirety of Phase I be stabilized while demolition is taking place in Phase II? Will the stormwater system in the Phase I area be installed while Phase II demolition is taking place? If so, how will you ensure runoff from Phase II is contained? 6. Please provide detail on how contaminated runoff from Phase I will be contained and prevented from leaving the site I am still waiting to hear back from them, but the first question especially may require some redrafting on their part. I did also point out to them that the catch basin they are proposing to tie into is VTRANS-owned, rather than municipal as they asserted in their stormwater narrative. Please let me know if you need anything else at this time!
