I’ll take a look at the site plan comments later today and get back to you in that email thread. Thanks! I am disappointed they didn’t include a narraƟve describing their revised submission, and I’m asking for one to address your site comments, but one of the things they included was a revised traffic study. Could you possibly review the revised traffic study to evaluate whether your concerns have been addressed? My sense at the iniƟal review was they were VERY CLOSE on whether they were exceeding the previous trip generaƟon, which would unlock all sorts of challenges for them, and I was concerned that modifying to address your comments would flip them over into the addiƟonal new trips territory. In terms of Ɵmeline, if you could get your comments to me on Tuesday, I can include it in my packet on Wednesday. If there is anything that makes sense to talk over, please feel free to call! Your original comments: 1. The background traffic growth factor was calculated to be -5.2% between 2016 and 2029 (page 2). It doesn’t seem reasonable that traffic would decrease more than 5% in the 13-year Ɵme frame). I did not calculate that growth rate when looking at the RedBook values and instead got a much smaller decrease (~2% decrease). If a conservaƟve growth rate of 0% was used, what would the resulƟng LOS at the intersecƟon be in the build condiƟons? a. I’m not necessarily concerned about the LOS, but would want to see a more conservaƟve approach. 2. Were pedestrian calls on the intersecƟon considered? I don’t see a pedestrian phase in the Synchro outputs. Even if the number of calls is small, it would be good pracƟce to always include pedestrians in the analysis as ped volumes increase Citywide. 2 3.
