Hi Marty,
Thank you for this information. When we remove the costs associated with the road stabilization, we get a
project cost of $63,220.00.
That works out to $63,220/(5/1000) = $316.10.
$316.10 + $13 = $329.10.
I will pay that through the South Burlington website.

Hi Lani,
We would consider the road stabilization portion of the project to be a project infrastructure improvement and not
necessarily part the project itself, so we would ask that you remove material and labor costs associated with the road
stabilization from the project cost estimate, then pay the standard $13 + $5 per $1,000 of whatever is left.
Let me know if you have any questions.

Hi Lani,
Yes – that appeal form you saw on the website is the correct form. Once signed by all appropriate parties, we attach that
waiver to the approved Zoning Permit to explain why we are issuing a Zoning Permit while the Site Plan approval is still
3
in its appeal period. Once you submit that waiver form, the ZP application form & supporting documents, and the ZP fee,
we can go ahead and issue the ZP even if the Site Plan appeal period is ongoing.
Best,
Marty

Hi Marty,
I know there’s not a lot of time left for the appeal period, but the University recently decided to fast track this project. Is
there a way to waive the (admittedly small) remainder of the appeal period?
I looked on line, and saw an appeal waiver form for a zoning permit, but not sure if that would work for the site plan
approval.
Thank you,
Lani
