As the building is set back from street we will need to ensure FD Aerial access via the parking lots on North and West sides. The traffic pattern and parking lot infrastructure need to accommodate the apparatus (1990 WB-40 – straight dual rear axle design) The building will need fire sprinkler and standpipe coverage as well. I’ve already included a recommendation that they be required to align the eastern driveway with the driveway on the opposite side of Bowdoin St and straighten out the drive aisle, though I don’t feel terribly strongly about it and if they have a good reason not to, at this time do not intend to push them. A similar sketch plan was presented to the Board a few years ago but did not move forward. This is a site plan application so this will be the Board’s only review of the project. I apologize for the late notice. Please provide comments by no later than Tuesday May 31.
