The pavement marking and sign plan makes sense to me; I think the utility and grading sheets that he attached might be outdated? Hi Marla – Attached are draft plans that illustrate what I was trying to describe in the prior email. There were a few details and dimensions that I wanted to work through, so I just made the plan edits. I marked these draft for you and DPW to take a look at. If they are OK in regards to the City Hall / School drive parking, I will submit them with the responses to the comments following our normal procedure. Before submitting a revised plan, I wanted to make sure the following would be acceptable: - Can the striping extend past the end of the emergency access connection, toward the School? Having the striping in front of the curb at the end of the emergency access connection would discourage parking in that location. - An accessible space needs to be at least 13 feet wide (which would meet the requirement for van accessible). To achieve this width, the accessible space would need to extend to the edge of the existing sidewalk. The ramp would also need to be shifted for the widened accessible space and to achieve the minimum length needed with a 1:12 maximum slope. Let me know if my questions are clear. Give a call if you or DPW would like to discuss. It would help if I sent the correct markup for the school/library driveway. Please correct me if I’m wrong! Please find attached a summary of outstanding comments on the above-referenced project, including items that are previously outstanding that you already are aware of (to keep it all in one place). Looking forward to scheduling a meeting with the project Landscape Architect; let me know what works!
