Re: Wastewater allocation, 30 Chipman Street and 217 South Jefferson Street
Dear Bart,
In your emails of July 18 and July 20, 2015, you requested that the City confirm that there is sufficient wastewater treatment capacity to allow for two existing homes – SV 27 (30 Chipman Street) and SV 42 (217 South Jefferson Street) to be altered from having three (3) bedrooms each
to having four (4) bedrooms each.
This letter is to confirm that there is sufficient wastewater capacity at the City’s Bartlett Bay Wastewater Treatment Facility to accommodate the change. It is our understanding that all dwelling units exceeding one (1) bedroom in size are assessed the same gallons per day
calculation for allocation purposes, therefore we do not anticipate a requirement to amend the
existing allocation.
Please note that any proposed increases in wastewater flows, as determined by State regulations, will require a permit for allocation from the City.
