1. ALL DEBRIS TO BE REMOVED AND DISPOSED OF IN ACCORDANCE WITH STATE AND LOCAL REGULATIONS.
REMOVE FROM SITE AS SOON AS PRACTICABLE DEMOLISHED MATERIALS, DEBRIS, AND RUBBISH. DO NOT
ACCUMULATE DEBRIS ON THE FLOOR OR AT THE SITE.
2. NOTIFY ARCHITECT BEFORE REMOVING ANY STRUCTURAL MEMBERS.
3. CONSULT OWNER REGARDING REUSE OF ANY EXISTING ITEMS, AND BEFORE DISPOSING OF ANY REMOVED
ITEMS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO; FURNITURE, KITCHEN CABINETS, EQUIPMENT, PLUMBING FIXTURES,
LIGHT FIXTURES AND DOORS.
4. PROVIDE ADEQUATE SUPPORT TO ANY CEILING STRUCTURES TO REMAIN IN AREA OF DEMOLITION WORK.
5. COORDINATE REMOVAL OF ANY RATED ASSEMBLIES WITH THE ARCHITECT AND LOCAL OFFICIALS BEFORE

8. PREPARE DEMOLISHED AREAS TO RECEIVE NEW FINISHES.
9. IT IS THE INTENTION OF THE KEYNOTES LOCATED ON THE DEMOLITION SHEETS TO IDENTIFY CONSTRUCTION
ELEMENTS NOT DESCRIBE ENTIRE ASSEMBLIES, THE REMOVAL OF SAID ELEMENTS SHOULD INCLUDE ALL
ASSOCIATED CONSTRUCTION.
10. IT IS THE INTENT THAT ALL DEMOLITION WORK ADJACENT TO EXISTING SURFACES THAT SHALL REMAIN TO BE
REFINISHED SO AS TO PROVIDE AN EVEN FINISH THAT MATCHES THE ADJACENT SURFACE. IN CASES WHERE
REQUIRED DEMOLITION RESULTS IN AN AREA THAT IS NOT SPECIFICALLY IDENTIFIED AS FINISHED, CONCEALED,
OR COVERED, CONTRACTOR SHALL PATCH AND REPAIR SUCH WORK SO THERE IS NO EVIDENCE OF THE
DEMOLITION. WHERE DEMOLITION WORK COMPROMISES FIRE RATED CONSTRUCTION, MOISTURE/VAPOR
BARRIERS, OR SIMILAR "CONTAINMENT" CONSTRUCTION. CONTRACTOR SHALL PATCH AND REPAIR
CONSTRUCTION TO MAINTAIN THE ORIGINAL BARRIER INTEGRITY.
11. MINIMIZE IMPACT OF DEMOLITION ON ALL ADJACENT SURFACES, FINISHES, AND ACTIVITIES. PROVIDE BARRIER
PROTECTION (PLYWOOD) OVER ADJACENT SURFACES. THE CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL REPAIRS TO
ADJACENT WORK IF OVER-DEMOLITION OCCURS.
12. REMOVE ALL KITCHEN APPLIANCES, SINK, FAUCET, COUNTERTOP, UPPER AND LOWER CABINETS. KITCHEN TO
BE RELOCATED AS PER PLAN. CAP OFF WATER AND WASTE LINES ACCORDINGLY FOR THE REMODEL. PLUMBING
