HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes - Cemetery Sextons - 09/26/2022South Burlington Cemetery Sexton Meeting Minutes September 26, 2022 Donna called the meeting of the South Burlington Cemetery Sextons to order at 6:04 PM. The meeting was held at City Hall with the following members present (Donna Kinville, Peter Taylor and Maureen O’Brien). I. Emergency Evacuation Procedures - So stated II. Review of Agenda– No changes III. Comments and Questions from the Public – There were none. IV. Approve minutes of August 18, 2022 – Peter made a motion to approve the minutes of August 18, 2022, Maureen seconded and all voted in favor. V. Discussion of rules and regulations a. Donna will ask that the Fee Increase be put on an upcoming City Council consent agenda. b. Maureen will revise rules and regulations to reflect the changes discussed and Donna will check with the City Attorney regarding some of the language. VI. Follow-up on meeting with City Manager and Highway Dept regarding
Shelburne Road Cemetery – Overall, it was a thought that it was a productive outing. The Highway department discussed brush-hogging and the possibility of the stream being a stormwater issue. They will check and report back to Donna. The City Manager thought that the clean-up could possibly be a Capitol Improvement Project. VII. Eldredge Headstone Cleaning – Saturday, October 15, 2022 from 9AM – 12 Noon was selected as the date. We will not be repairing stones that day, just cleaning them. VIII. New Business – Our next meeting is scheduled to be held in person on November 14, 2022. Maureen made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Donna and approved by all.
