So there are no access issues for FD. The addition will require that the existing sprinkler system will need to be
extended. As there is potential for indoor vehicle storage, the applicant shall ensure that the sprinkler system is
designed to protect that hazard classification.

Well my notes say “Staff spoke with the Fire Chief about the project on 6/23/2022 who indicated concern about the
potential partitioning of the space into multiple tenants. Staff has requested and anticipates they will have an update
from the Fire Chief at the time of the hearing.” So I must have spoken to somebody! Maybe I accidentally called
Burlington FD. সহ
Either way, I’ll make sure it is known they need to see your office for permits.

As mentioned to Terry, this was begun review back in June. I must have spoken to Ed about it on June 23, because I
don’t have any email records and Terry doesn’t recall having heard about it. The concern at that time was that it sure
looks like they’re planning on multiple tenants based on the provided building floor plans, and did FD know anything
about it? But knowing that they haven’t come in for permits with you, I think the bigger concern at this juncture is
getting FD approval in general. L&D has been bought out by TCE, and the POC there is Dan Heil <Dan.Heil@tcevt.com>.

This application will be reviewed by the Board at the July 6 DRB hearing. This is a relatively straightforward expansion of
an existing building and use. This is a site plan application so this will be the Board’s only review of the project. Please
provide comments by no later than Friday June 24.
Just a reminder, comments you provide are inserted directly into the staff report for the project, so please frame your
response for public consumption.

Site plan application #SP-22-028 of Rieley Cohen Partnership, LLC to amend a previously approved site plan for a 13,000
sf contractor or building trade facility with outdoor storage. The amendment consists of constructing a 5,500 sf addition
and additional outdoor storage, 4 Harbor View Road.
