The South Burlington City Council held a special meeting on Monday, June 12, 2000 at 5 p.m. in the Conference Room, 575 Dorset Street. Members present: Jim Condos, Chair; Terry Sheahan, Chris Smith, Steve Magowan, Dan O'Rourke Also present: Chuck Hafter, City Manager, Lance Llewellyn, Michael Dugan, and Bruce Hoar 1. Award contract for public works building The City Manager discussed the efforts made to reduce project costs through negotiations with the low bidder. Terry Sheahan moved to authorize the City Manager to sign a contract with Professional Construction, Inc. not to exceed a price of $2,057,000 for construction of the public works facility. Chris Smith seconded. The motion passed unanimously. 2. Meet as Liquor Control Board Chris Smith moved the Council adjourn and reconvene as Liquor Control Board. Terry Sheahan seconded. The motion passed unanimously. The LCB reviewed the first class restaurant license application from Team McGrath, Inc. d/b/a Marco's Pizza, Williston Road. Steve Magowan moved approval of the license. Dan O'Rourke seconded. The motion passed unanimously. 3. Adjournment Steve Magowan moved adjournment as LCB. Dan O'Rourke seconded.
