Re: Stonington Circle Trees
Dear Caleb,
This letter is to provide you with my appraisal of values for the proposed 11 tree removals at
Stonington Circle.
For ease of reference, I am going to number the trees, 1-11.
Tree 1 is the birch clump closest to the Consolidated Communication shed. Its value, calculated
through the Trunk Formula Method, is $610. Trees 2 and 3 are the other birches, and are both dead. Their
value is $0.
Tree 4 is the white spruce near the parking. Its value is $1,010. Tree 5 is another white spruce, near
the back corner of unit 41. Its value is $2,430.
Trees 6 and 7 are two weeping willow trees to the right of unit 55. The value of tree 6 is $390, and
Tree 7 has now broken and fallen over, so its value is $0.
Tree 8 is a dead crabapple tree, value $0.
Tree 9 is a blue spruce in front of unit 122. It has a value of $2,130. Tree 10 is another spruce, and
has a value of $670.
Tree 11 is a white pine, with a value of $1,570.
This gives a total value for these 11 trees of $8,810.00. Again, these values were arrived at using the Trunk
Formula Method.
