HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes - City Council - 08/09/1993 (2)CITY COUNCIL 9 AUGUST 1993 The South Burlington City held a special meeting on Monday, August 9, 1993 at 6:30 PM on the site of the new city park on Dorset Street. Members Present: Michael Flaherty, Chairman; John Dinklage, James Condos, William Cimonetti Also Present: Charles Hafter, City Manager; John Forcier, TCE; Chuck Mangus, TCE; Bill Bohler, Munson Earth Moving The Council reviewed the progress on construction of the park and a site walk was conducted. Members were pleased with the progress of the park work. Concern was expressed over the large stock pile of fill still on site and Council expressed the opinion that the site should be graded by the close of construction in the fall. Council also expressed concern that the new playing fields were signed in such a way as to keep users off until the appropriate time. The Council adjourned to the regular meeting.
