The question I have is, can the light on the north side of the road be placed closer to the crosswalk to allow for more light for the crossing and better vehicular view of pedestrians crossing the street. That area is very dark currently. I am assuming the sidewalk on the south side of Park Road is going to be private? I’m completing my review now and I’m feeling like its important to get DPW eyes on some elements of this plan. In particular, the sidewalk connections and the lighting (see the photometric sheet). I know the fixture is wrong, but do we even want lights at the intersections? I’m publishing my report tomorrow (Wednesday). Any chance you could take a look? Please provide comments by this Friday 3/4. Just a reminder, comments you provide are inserted directly into the staff report for the project, so please frame your response for public consumption.
