We would like to offer the following comments: 1. The HydroCAD model appears to use 13.730 in/hr for an infiltration rate for the proposed infiltration system. It appears from the Geotechnical Investigation report that the average of the two nearest infiltration rates (SW-9 & SW-10) to the proposed infiltration system is 15.7 inches per hour. Applying a factor of safety of 2, would yield an infiltration rate of 7.85 in/hr. Please confirm how the 13.73 in/hr was arrived at. 2. Consider adding an isolator row to the proposed infiltration system, with manholes on either end for maintenance purposes. 3. The DRB should include a condition requiring the applicant to regularly maintain all stormwater treatment and conveyance infrastructure.
