HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes - City Council - 11/15/1989CITY COUNCIL (SPECIAL MEETING) WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 15, 1989 The South Burlington City Council held a Special Meeting on Wednesday, November 15, 1989 at 6:30 PM. in the small conference room at 575 Dorset Street. MEMBERS PRESENT: Paul Farrar, Chairman; Mike Flaherty, James Condos, John Dinklage and Bill Cimonetti. OTHERS PRESENT: Chuck Hafter, City Manager; Wendy Schroeder, Business Manager 1. Appointment of Assistant Treasurer Mr. Hafter reported that the state statutes permitted the Treasurer to appoint assistants. Ms. Picard had appointed Ms. Schroeder and Ms. McKearin as Assistant Treasurers. Ms. Schroeder will sign the bond documents in Ms. Picard's absence. 2. Notice of MPO meeting John Dinklage invited Council members to a reception for the Chittenden County legislative delegation hosted by the MPO on December 11, 1989, 6-8p.m. (location unknown). 3. Executive Session Upon motion by Jim Condos, seconded by John Dinklage the Council voted unanimously to go into Executive Session to discuss legal matters. 4. Approval of agreements Mike Flaherty moved that the Council authorize the City Manager to sign the right-of-way agreement with Peter Judge and the proposed settlement with the Greer's upon completion of the documents and that the documents remain private until that time.
