HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes - City Council - 04/01/1987CITY COUNCIL (SPECIAL) APRIL 1, 1987 The South Burlington City Council held a Special Meeting on Wednesday, April 1, 1987 at 5:00 P.M. in the City Hall Mini-Conference Room, 575 Dorset Street. Members Present: George Mona, Frank Murray, Molly Lambert. Others Present: City Manager William Szymanski, Business Manager Wendy Schroeder, City Attorney Steve Stitzel. Bill Szymanski opened the meeting at 5:00 P.M., April 1, 1987 and stated that Chairman Paul Farrar and Vice-Chairman Michael Flaherty were both out of the City and that a Chairman for the evening had to be appointed. Mr. Szymanski called for nominations for a Chairman for the evening. Molly Lambert made the motion to appoint George Mona as Chairman for the evening. Frank Murray seconded the motion. All present were in favor. Frank Murray made the motion to go into Executive Session for the sole purpose to discuss, with City Attorney Steve Stitzel, the Police Union mediations that are in progress with Federal Mediator John Knight and then to adjourn the meeting and discuss no other business. Molly Lambert seconded the motion and all present voted in the affirmative. The Executive Session adjourned at 6:45 P.M.
